Located in the picturesque Brecon Beacons, this 400-acre lake is one of the best pike lakes in Wales. This destination can also be great for perch, roach, bream and even eel.
Llangorse has produced pikes over 30lb in weight, with the unsubstantiated record caught in 1846 at 68lb. Why not take a trip to see if you could catch something bigger?
The eight lakes at this site, located between Newport and Cardiff, are easily accessible and host both coarse and specimen carp lakes. The Cefn Mably Lakes record is one to beat, at a massive 38lb!
