Specifications

The Zephyr Mid TF is a unique boot designed to offer a high level of lateral support with superior underfoot cushioning. The upper of the boot is made from a combination of suede leather and Cordura fabric offers excellent protection, while the closed lace hooks prevent snagging. The distinct Monowrap frame provides best in class stability and torsional protection, all while keeping the weight of the boot to a minimum, allowing you to move as quickly and freely as possible. The lack of a waterproof lining means this version of the Zephyr will be highly breathable but also faster drying. The Cross sole unit is designed with durability in mind. The Zephyr's are very popular with tactical forces, and would suit anyone looking for a quality, strong, lightweight pair of walking boots for serious outdoor use.

Technology

A synthetic lining making it comfortable and breathable.
Conceived and developed by LOWA, the outsole is made from an optimised rubber compound, specifically designed to meet the footwear's intended use.
Comfort and cushioning is further improved for specific uses with a complex injection-moulding process using various layers of PU-foam padding that are poured into a mould. During the process, the sole and upper are bonded together.
The laces are guided securely through closed loops and cannot slip out. The design makes it less likely the hooks will get caught upon contact with objects.
The LOWA Monowrap Stability frame reaches up around the side of the footwear, providing a three-dimensional cradle to stabilise the foot over rough terrain. Made of PU, the Stability frame offers outstanding lightweight support.
Provides a good balance between optimal support for the foot, and pleasant rolling properties.
