Fit recommendation
For the best possible fit, we recommend starting with your normal UK boot size, but also check out the expert size recommendation for product specific fit information. However, if you are unsure, get in contact with us, or visit a store to get your feet measured.
The below can be used as a guide if you're not sure on your boot size, and need guidance with where to start - it is best to measure the length of your foot when stood up. Due to individual foot shapes or preferences in fit this recommendation may vary. We also offer some boots in wide and narrow fitting options.
LOWA boots are made in UK sizes (not EU). We offer free returns for peace of mind if the fit isn't quite right.

LOWA toe extra
LOWA recommends a gap between all your toes to the end of the footwear of 15mm for adults (12mm for kids). This has already been taken account for in the tables, so no need to add on.
LOWA fit recommendation
Different models are built on different Lasts (fits). Our fit recommendation on the product page is designed to help provide some guidance on how the footwear fits, using real world user feedback.
Fits tight - the toe box tends to be more tapered, providing a closer, tighter fit more suitable for narrower feet
Fits slightly tight - a closer fit across the foot than some models, providing a more precise feel
Fits regular - our regular fit, designed to fit most people's feet
Fits slightly broad - offers a little more space around the foot than in some of our models
Fits broad - provide the most amount of room around the foot in our most relaxed fits
Specifications
Technology
Highly breathable, durably waterproof lining material. Keeps feet pleasantly dry and offers optimised climate comfort for a broad range of outdoor activities.
Conceived and developed by LOWA, the outsole is made from an optimised rubber compound, specifically designed to meet the footwear's intended use.
Comfort and cushioning is further improved for specific uses with a complex injection-moulding process using various layers of PU-foam padding that are poured into a mould. During the process, the sole and upper are bonded together.
A special polyurethane (PU) foam material in the midsole, that retains its restoring force even when it’s pressed together thousands of times. As a result, the finished boots will maintain their exceptional cushioning properties even after you have walked many 100s of miles in them.
The LOWA Monowrap support frame provides a three-dimensional cradle, to guide and support the foot over uneven surfaces. Made of PU, the Support frame offers excellent lightweight support.
The midsole supports the foot's natural rolling properties, with a little rigidity coming from the footwear.
