The Cevedale II GTX is an updated version of LOWA's most popular mountaineering boot. The redesigned ankle fit, featuring LOWA's Flexfit Syncro technology, allows for improved ankle flex. This asymmetric upper design enables the boot’s upper to move “in sync” with the lower leg, resulting in even better hiking comfort on long approaches. Compatible with a semi-automatic crampon, the midsole has been specifically designed to allow the foot to be positioned close to the ground, allowing for precise foot placing on tricky terrain. The Vibram Scalatore Evo rubber outsole provides all the grip you'll need, while the Gore-Tex lining ensures all weather comfort.

Independently adjustable lacing zones, one on the forefoot and one on the upper, for an improved individualised fit and better adjustments for personal comfort and different foot anatomy.
Anatomically shaped tongue for improved flex and comfort. Combined with asymmetric padding, it helps avoid pressure points and substantially enhances comfort.
This flat support zone under the toes makes easy scrambling possible thanks to a more secure foot placement.
The overall height of the midsole is kept to a bare minimum, reducing space to the ground providing natural feel, grip and stability on all terrain.
Easier ankle movement due to integrated "FlexZone" and flexible Lace Loop. This saves energy and increases comfort.
Highly breathable, durably waterproof lining material. Keeps feet pleasantly dry and offers optimised climate comfort for a broad range of outdoor activities.
Exclusive patented LOWA locking cam hooks, to easily allow for the lower & upper areas of the foot to be tightened separately, allowing for a more precise lacing fit.
Each lace hook is affixed to separate soft leather or textile trim, which will move independently to create a more individualised fit for the foot. It prevents pressure points on specific areas, while maintaining the tongues optimum position.
This product can be resoled by a specialist. They're designed in a way where the upper of the shoe is retained, and a new sole can be added to it.
To ensure that the laces run flexibly and smoothly through the eyelets, small roller balls minimise friction in the metal loops and provide easy lacing.
The boot has a pronounced rear welt, but no front welt, so are suitable to take a semi-automatic crampon.
Has a high degree of rigidity, offering good support even when subjected to stress.
Vibram® has been one of the leading brands of high-quality soles for many years, offering a variety of rubber blends and sole units to cover each boots specific end use requirements.
Patented LOWA technology holds the tongue in place both vertically and horizontally. This prevents slippage, reducing pressure points or blisters. The X-Lacing ensures that the pressure of the laces is transferred not just to the hooks but to the tongue as well.
