Newly reengineered, this low-cut model isn’t just a job done halfway. Proof for that is the grippy new Vibram® Evo Trac sole and the robust nubuck leather with a waterproof GORE-TEX membrane. Too, the re-optimised cushioning turns this marvel of fit into your perfect companion for easy hikes.
This version is made on a wider last, adding width to the forefoot and extra volume across the whole foot. Also available in a Standard Fit.

Comfort and cushioning is further improved for specific uses with a complex injection-moulding process using various layers of PU-foam padding that are poured into a mould. During the process, the sole and upper are bonded together
A special polyurethane (PU) foam material in the midsole, that retains its restoring force even when it’s pressed together thousands of times. As a result, the finished boots will maintain their exceptional cushioning properties even after you have walked many 100s of miles in them.
The midsole supports the foot's natural rolling properties, with a little rigidity coming from the footwear.
Highly breathable, durably waterproof lining material. Keeps feet pleasantly dry and offers optimised climate comfort for a broad range of outdoor activities.
The LOWA Monowrap support frame provides a three-dimensional cradle, to guide and support the foot over uneven surfaces. Made of PU, the Support frame offers excellent lightweight support.
Vibram® has been one of the leading brands of high-quality soles for many years, offering a variety of rubber blends and sole units to cover each boots specific end use requirements.
In a wide last, the forefoot area has a greater volume than the same area in a standard last. Shoes made with a Wide last can feel more comfortable for people with special foot types (such as hallux valgus, flat foot, fallen arches etc.)
