James just a note to thank you for your efforts in getting the Tibet boots for me, also for your prompt despatch. I was unable to contact you myself on Friday as I was out abusing the Sterlings- again. It was a truly glorious day, you know the type-wind,rain and low cloud. Unfortunately the sun eventually came out and spoiled it! The rain cleared, the wind eased and the low cloud went aswell. Thankfully the mushy ground remained! I really enjoy the poor conditions underfoot as the Sterlings have such good grip. I had been struggling before when the Sareks ran low on grip.So much so that I had to avoid some slopes for safety sake. Now it is back to the nitty gritty with a vengeance .People who buy boots as good as these better be prepared to go that extra mile. Sure they look impressive and can be used for walking in the park. If that is all they are to be used for, you would begin to feel a little bit of a fake .Even if you look cool .Every scratch and scar has its own tale to tell. Breaks my heart to see them getting scarred and scuffed but given a choice I'd say they prefer that to living in a box -or indeed spending their lives walking in the park. Anyway there is always the polish to hide the marks. When the Tibets arrive I will put them into storage in my Lowa shrine for the time being. There they will rest, assured in the knowledge that their day will come when the mighty Sterlings finally wear themselves out doing what they do best, Namely keeping me tramping through the mush, the mire, the screes and the slopes of Donegal. Again many thanks for going above and beyond, it is much appreciated. Incidentally someone who had walked with me in the past bought a pair of Lowa Sareks without even trying them on.Simply stating that " if they were good enough for me etc etc" Regards Thomas July 2009

Dear Sirs:
It is my privilege to inform you that after 4 months of brutal field tests; the LOWA Hunter GTX, has qualified as a “Top Rated Gear Endorsed Product”.
The Hunter GTX proved to be the perfect Big Game and Sheep Hunting Boot.
Over these many weeks the boots were tested almost daily in a wide range of activities, which included, backpacking with 40 pound packs, snow shoeing, winter camping, horseback riding, and all strenuous hunting activities in general. The conditions ranged from established trails, to bouldering, as well as loose shale and scree—mixed with rain, snow and dry surfaces. The temperatures, ranged between 10o to 60o.
In addition to the quality of the boots, our team also enjoyed there unique design and comfort which includes the VIBRAM outsoles, and the LOWA SPS (Supination/Pronation Support) technology.
Shortly, we will be distributing a series of “Field Reports”, to all of our Guides & Outfitters with the objective of directing them to your local dealers and web site, so that they can purchase the Hunter GTX as well as your other quality Footwear.

I'd like to congratulate you on an excellent boot.
I'm a dog handler with Lowland Search Dogs Southern based in Hampshire. We're a voluntary search dog team who deploy hasty (route and path) and area (up to 100 acres) dog to search's across the south coast regularly.
I purchased a pair of your boots 18 months ago and they have very rarely been off my feet. With training twice a week, search's and dog walks in between in some very wet, muddy and rough terrains these boots have served me very well.
I will in the near future be buying my next pair and I'm sure there is only one name that will be needed.
A big thank you
Kev Saunders
